A lot of time and effort goes into my work, so my output is slow. My art is not my job, but a hobby; I draw when I feel that my vision will improve the already beautiful blank page. Not until- there is a quote, "Don't speak unless it improves upon the silence." My art takes this sentiment to heart, and I truly think you should too.
Also, my art is me, not some commercial knock; I don't want you to criticize it, nor do I envision you making slight of it. If you don't like it, that's perfectly fine- no one likes everything. I am very conscious of the experts of dA, varying from "omg, I know things, and that model is anorexic. Feed her, Fascist" to "I think you should change the light-balance, it's kind of weird" to "I think your eyes are misshapen, and they aren't balanced on the face; maybe you could take an art class and learn anatomy". Guess what- if you're right, we know. If you're wrong, we don't care.
I know it seems harsh, but my feedback from a lifeless/souless/arrogant comment will be fiery as can be. You and I know no one needs that, yourself and myself included.
I hope you enjoy my art. What I do (when I do it) is an extension of my being- it isn't some trivial sketch I whip out on a day-to-day basis. If it is, I'm not going to show you.
Thanks,
-ARD

I'll be adding more stuff up as time goes on as I'm in a creative writing class this semester. Hopefully it won't be bad.

A service dog makes the best therapist. They are available 24/7, never breach confidentiality, and they don't charge you for listening.
